Happy Teacher’s Day Saloni Srivastava
“Teaching is one profession that creates all the other professions” - Brad Henry
I have been following Saloni’s Youtube channel for like 2 years and right from that point she has been a teacher for me. It is not required from a person to be in an educational institution to be a teacher. If you can learn from that person about literally anything on a regular basis; they are a teacher to you as you are learning something valuable from them.
For me, Saloni was a teacher for a long time as I was a regular consumer of her contents and I have always tried to follow them. I still remember the day she gave free printable “Habit Tracker” and explained how to use them on her channel. I downloaded and started using it. Of course, at the beginning stage, I was not able to use it completely, but that small step was a big starting point for me, and am using her Planner daily now and seeing good results as well.
When she launched her planner, myself and my friend were excited to receive the product and use it. I don't have any second thoughts when I had to buy something from her. Likewise, when she launched the course, I completely trusted her and bought it; even without knowing the entire syllabus of the course. This is not some random faith you have on people. My trust was like, I knew for a fact that whatever is that she has to offer, it will be of top-notch quality and I went for it.
Now am a proud student of HustlePost Academy and I can’t even begin to comprehend how much her course has helped me. She is a good teacher and I thought of doing something nice for her this Teachers Day and express my gratitude.
So, yeah here I am with an article on 5 points about “Why I like and Admire Saloni Srivastava”.
Let’s Dive in.
1. I Feel Related to her:
Other Content Creators talk about Minimalism and Productivity. But I choose to follow her because
1. Her videos are so simple and realistic.
2. I feel like she is my sister or a friend while watching her videos.
3. Her friendly nature makes her subscribers get closely connected with her.
4. She doesn’t portray herself as a fake person. When she has her less productive days she shares that experience as well with her subscribers which motivates us that it’s completely normal to have less productive days and not to feel bad about it.
5. She does not sugarcoat anything. I admire her for her honest reviews and opinions on be it products or services or situations or people.
2. I Can Trust her:
I start using any platform she suggests in her videos as I trust her and her content. I didn’t know much about finance and mutual funds as I am a Life Science graduate. But her videos on mutual funds introduced me to that world and irrespective of me investing or not, at least I got introduced to that important space with information-heavy content and resources; which I would not have got from other creators. Now when I really want to invest; I know where to go. I also got introduced to this amazing platform ‘Skillshare’ where you can learn about 'n' number of things at minimal cost to improve one’s skill. These are a few reasons as to why I trust Saloni.
3. I connect with her vibe:
Learning does not stop when you finish school or college. One has to keep on learning throughout their life not just to develop skills and earn more money but also to be a better human being. According to me, Saloni does just that. She not only encourages one to be more productive and lead a minimal life, but she also provides valuable content in all her videos explaining and giving tips on exactly how to live your dream life.
There were times in my life when I feel like am not performing up to my level or procrastinating things. I get stuck after some time and I start watching her videos just to get some positive vibes from her and feel motivated again and start working. I do that to date. When I go off mentally, I start watching her videos.
4. Oh My God! I Love Her Voice:
That voice is nothing but therapy. Those who have been following her Youtube channel would agree and know exactly what am talking about. I have requested her to start Podcasting in the comments sections and her first Podcast episode was just WOW. It was so therapeutic, relaxing and motivating.
5. I can take home information heavy content from her single video:
Her videos are both informative and entertaining. But one can also get much information watching her entertaining videos like ‘What I eat in a Day’ or ‘What’s in My Bag’. Even in a simple video one can learn so many things which is great as it serves two purposes at a single time.
Though there are many other Content creators on various platforms, I follow her because of all the above reasons and also because she stands uniquely in the crowd of people who create photogenic and posh content, which are often not the way how reality is.
There are so many reasons why this year didn’t go as planned, but I am glad and satisfied that I came to know of her and I enrolled in her amazing course. I can’t thank her enough for giving me such a positive network of like-minded people, which is the need of the hour for me.
Thank you Dear Saloni Srivastava for everything, for helping me out in my difficult times, and yeah this Blog is also a result of your teaching. Thank you.
HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY Saloni and to all the lovely mentors I have had.
Without you all, I would be no one.
Have a great weekend.
See you next week.
Until then, take care and Bubye :)
Happy Teachers Day!!!
